Jan. 28, 2004 Mural installed inside Central Command Headquarters, Tampa Florida.
Jan. 26, 2004 Mural Airlift by C-141 Military Airlift Command was completed. The crated mural sections were strapped to a special palette and locked down inside the cavernous craft. It arrived at Mac Dill Air Force Base in Tampa Florida later that night.
It's finished! Public Unveiling of the mural! Close to 300 local dignitaries and the press attended the closed, by invitation only, event. It was held at the 'Million Air' FBO Hangar, at the Palm Springs Airport. "The day that will live in Infamy" was a calculated date for the unveiling. All branches of the Military were in attendance, as well as the Civil Air Patrol, Air Force R.O.T.C., Veterans, and Pearl Harbor Survivors.
Board of Directors met today. 3 weeks from completion of the mural. However, the temperature in the hangar is still nearly unbearable. The time frame could slip.
